Everglades Adventure for Father & Son Bass Fishin'

Paul Cruvellier and son Robbie from Mount Royal, Canada, came onboard in November for some Largemouths and Peacocks bass.
The vacation excursion turn out to be an adventure to discover the South Florida Everglades and Miami urban lakes.  We chased after peacock bass, larger-mouth bass and everything else that would bite. For me, the best part of the trip was teaching Robbie how to work a fly rod. The winds where blowing hard, but Robbie managed to work it pretty well and he will soon be mastering fly fishing.
What a exciting and great time we had together, Paul originally booked a 2-day Variety package trip. But after the second day he decided they had so much fun they wanted to spend the rest of their vacation fishing for largemouths and Peacock Bass in South Florida.

I had a great time teaching and catching bass with the Cruvellier Family and let me tell you, we caught a mess load of fish.

I am really looking forward to seeing these guys back in March, until then to the Cruvellier family happy holidays!

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Bass Fishing in Florida Everglades

I took out Pat and Cathy Braun from Chadd-Fort, Pennsylvania on October 2, 2009.

It was a electrifying & beautiful day trip in the Everglades. The Braun's boated around 15 bass from 1lb pound to 4lbs, you can tell by the smiles on the faces in the pictures, it was a lot of fun.

I had a great time with them and look forward to having them on board again when they return in the spring.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Everglades Adventure for Florida Family!

The Villella’s, Frank and Tony are from South West Ranches in South Florida and go out a couple of times of year with me. They are a great group, always entertaining and we have a lot of fun on every trip.

Captain Brett and I had repeat customers again Sunday October 4, 2009, Villella Family a party of 5 to experience the ultimate Everglades Adventure.

It was a great day today, they caught a bunch of fish. The unexpected was the peacock bass, we boated countless peacocks in a short 4 hour trip. The family had three bass over 5lbs and few smaller ones that were in the three to four pound range.

A very exciting morning for everyone, who would have guested Peacocks bass in the Everglades a true South Florida fishing Adventure!.

Everglades Bass Fishing

On August 14 on-board with Eric & Jeremy, these guys drove from Central Florida just to fish the Everglades.

It was another short day on the water but a really good morning. The top water bite was okay, so we went to throwing slow falling plastic baits and working them very slow off the bottom.

The end result Eric and Jeremy drive was well worth it. They were eager anglers and learned the benfit to fishing slow.

The picture says it all!
